Hi.

Welcome to my site. Check out my adventures in being a human. Hope you have a nice stay!

Keto. We get it.

Keto. We get it.

When are we gonna say when on this Keto craze? We get it. Atkins 2.0 burns fat as fuel when you get your body into ketosis = weight loss. Both my Dad and cousin lost a significant amount of weight using this diet method. How bout that gallbladder tho, amirite? It seems like this diet has taken over my Instagram feed and my google search results when I search for a recipe. Also, what can’t cauliflower do? My analytical mind would love to see the data on cauliflower revenue in this country in the past few years.

Trends are so fascinating to me. Even trends in headlines - don’t vaccinate your kid, it causes autism. CBD oil - drink it, smell it, smoke it, ingest it somehow and your life will improve. Here are the studies, Joe Rogan does it, his word is gospel, fall in line. Remember Slim fast? We beat the hell out of somethings, it booms and busts and we move on to the next thing. I wonder what will be in the history books about what happened in 2020?

Cutting carbs really does work to lose weight. No bread, nothing white, got it. It’s the increase in fat that is concerning, the ratio. I’ve seen some ‘clean Keto’ recipes before. Meh. Look like an unexciting dinner to me. Then you see the ‘bacon and eggs’ Keto. That can’t be good either, not long term.

How much does psychology play a factor in one’s aptness for Keto? — to try it in the first place and to actually follow it as it should be, removing an entire food group? Is this for the group think young suckers? The tribal Instagrammers and Rogan podcasters?

Since this diet doesn’t have a spokesperson or a network, no publicly announced scandal (yet), and no real stakeholders, I think this diet trend will phase in out without too much ruckus. Think Paula Deen/Food Network or Jared/Subway. Keto is it’s own island.
